ElectroClass an audiovisual project created by the artist María Ruido and produced by Consonni, takes the form of a seven-chapter film based on the deconstruction of the ETB (Basque Television Network) and other audiovisual materials. Using ETB footage as its raw material and the city of Bilbao as a case study, ElectroClass reflects on the collapse of the traditional working class, on the changes occurring in our working conditions from the period of industrial capitalism up through outsourcing, and on the radical transformation of the city as a "polis" into Bilbao as a "city-brand."
