Suzanne Lacy. The Tattooed Skeleton

The Tattooed Skeleton is a project by the artist Suzanne Lacy that is dedicated to critically analysing the narrations of gender-based violence, looking at how private stories are told and represented in the public sphere. This several month-long work process culminates in the presentation of a video installation and performance with audience participation during the ceremony at which the Ministry of Health, Equality and Social Policy recognizes actions combating gender-based violence.
