Talk with Soledad Sevilla
The art critic and independent curator Santiago Olmo has a conversation with the artist Soledad Sevilla about the exhibition Written in the celestial bodies (Museo Reina Sofía, 10 November 2011 – 29 April 2012), a site-specific installation at Palacio de Cristal, one of the two exhibition areas that Museo Reina Sofía has in Madrid's Parque del Buen Retiro. The conversation not only introduces the working process behind the largest of the installations created by the artist to date, but also examines a career that focuses on the relationship between the work of art and the spectator through a poetic sensuality, in which geometry explores the subtle relationships between light, space and perception.
