Echoes
Dos horas y media
Echoes is an experience based around active listening and sound production as ways of approaching the Museum’s contents. It is an activity that enables the exploration of the sounds implicit in certain works, as well as establishing connections between the world of sound and that of specific avant-garde movements such as Abstraction. Echoes is an attempt to find new methods and routes of art appreciation.
The visit takes in works of various formats, including One Week by Buster Keaton, Un mundo by Ángeles Santos, Guernica by Pablo Picasso and the 4th floor’s Abstract Expressionism room. The Museum room experience is complemented by an activity in which the pupils themselves become the creators and interpreters of a collective sound piece using unconventional instruments that enhance a work of sonic exploration.
