By delving deeper into the domesticity of appliance, this activity also seeks to widen the margins of listening to different inhabitants and agents — human and non-human, vegetative, electro-domestic — that make up our domestic space, or what we call house or home. Different forms that make up the same place, different territories in which different temporalities cross over and from which perspectives that reach remote locations open.

Choreographer and performer Cuqui Jerez (Madrid, 1973) forms part of the line-up for the 36^th Autumn Festival courtesy of a stage laboratory she has been developing since June of this year with the support of the Community of Madrid and the Museo Reina Sofía. The project will come to a close in November with the mise en scène of The Ultrathings in the Protocol Room of the Sabatini Building

Museo Reina Sofía once again welcomes the annual Acción!MAD, International Action Art Encounters, to take place in Madrid across different venues throughout November.

After organising activities with Merce Cunningham and Simone Forti, the Museo presents the choreographer and dancer Steve Paxton (USA, 1939), a central figure in the development of contemporary dance and the creator of contact improvisation. On this occasion Bound, a solo devised by Paxton, will be performed, for the first time in Spain, by the dancer Jurij Konjar, who will also hold a workshop.

The artist, dancer and choreographer La Ribot (María José Ribot) (Madrid, 1966) was honoured in 2000 with the Premio Nacional de Danza (National Dance Prize), in recognition of a career that included dance, performing arts and visual arts. Her best known work is the Series Distinguidas (1993-2003), a collection of short pieces created as a reflection on the body and from the body.
