Heimo Zobernig

This publication explores how Heimo Zobernig (Mauthen, Austria, 1958) has become one of the most relevant artists in the current European landscape. The catalogue for this exhibition, co-organised with the Kunsthaus Graz, offers an archive vision of his extensive and multidisciplinary production, beginning in 1980 and including prominent samples of his expositive curriculum. Having a considerable corpus of paintings, sculptures, videos, installations, architectonic interventions and performances, the keys to the investigation done by the artist about the staging of art, and the underlying correlations between shape and creation of significance are revealed.
