Luz del norte/The light of the north

This catalogue comprises an approach to paintings from Northern Europe (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland) at the turn of the twentieth century. It includes a selection of works, with a specific text for each one, and a series of essays written by authors from the region who explore aspects such as the relationship between humans and nature, contact with continental Europe, the work of Nordic artists and the metamorphosis of landscape painting.
