María Blanchard

Catalogue for the retrospective dedicated to Maria Blanchard, whose contribution to the avant-gardes has been object of recent investigation. In addition to the catalogue raisonée of her oeuvre published in 2004, this edition gathers the results of the most recent investigations on her pictorial production. The revisions of the different contexts where her artistic trajectory developed have resulted in a growing interest for her persona. From the Regenerationist Spain to the Interwar Paris, the publication collects all the moments of her artistic creation giving the central spot to her cubist period (1913 – 1920).
