Nuevas abstracciones
A certain re-emergence of painting in the first half of the 1990s is focused on through an approach to a group made up of twenty-nine artists without comparison and not considered within any generation, nationality and school. Artists who instead share common ground in profound research around the potential of pure abstraction in a context that is distanced from modernity. A text by Arthur C. Danto on the painting that arose from the end of modernity is accompanied by an essay by Enrique Juncosa and another by Demetrio Paparoni on the recent redefinition of abstraction.
