Rosemarie Trockel
A catalogue focusing on the works of Rosemarie Trockel, a German artist interested in the effects produced by institutional authority and the parallel sources of psycho-social dysfunction which it can produce through multiform though primarily sculptural work. Two texts by the exhibition curators analyse both her output as a statement of difference and the presence in her work of what has been called “the body’s inventory” – the exotic and the mundane.
