Señales de vídeo

The show behind this publication comprises forty video works by thirty-four artists made between 1988 and 1995, through which there is a revision of the period of progression in this field. The catalogue sketches the history of that which occurred since the previous exhibition on the same theme (The Sublime Image, 1987) and assays a cartography which serves as an interpretive tool of the period, along with the new methodological cataloguing of videos around categories such as imagined spaces, imaginary journeys, the right to replicate, video as medium, autovideographies, memory, and so on.
